A library is more than a room filled with books. It is a place where students can discover information, develop reading habits and study in a quiet environment. Libraries can therefore make an important contribution to education.
A good library should provide books that meet the needs of different students. Reference materials, textbooks, newspapers and other useful resources can help students research topics beyond what they learn in the classroom. A helpful librarian can also guide students towards appropriate resources.
Students should learn to use libraries responsibly. Books should be handled carefully and returned on time. The library should also remain quiet so that other students can read and study without unnecessary distraction.
26(a). Why is a library important to students?

Learning a new language can be useful for education, travel, employment and communication. It allows people to communicate with a wider range of individuals and can provide access to information from different cultures.
Regular practice is important when learning a language. Students can improve by reading simple books, listening to conversations, learning new vocabulary and practising speaking. Making mistakes is a natural part of learning and should not discourage students.
Patience is also necessary. Language skills develop gradually, and students should set realistic goals. Consistent practice over time is more effective than trying to learn everything in a very short period.
