Tips on how to stay healthy in Monsoon

Monsoon is season of rains, growing food item. Such a lovely blessing of Almighty to earth and lives on it. But due to raining many things happen that causes illness and disease, like; cold, fever, flu, headache, body pain, infections of skin, bacterial and fungal infections and so on…  But as it is always said every problem has a prevention and solutions options. So today we will be sharing tips on how to stay healthy in monsoon.

  1. First of all always add anti-bacterial liquid or disinfected into your bathing water, if the weather is really cold enough, do take bath of hot water. In place of antibacterial liquid you can use neem leaves also.
  2. Stop eating junk food or street foods which is prepared in open space as in rain roads are filled with mud and water where many viruses and bacteria gets developed and comes in direct contact with such food that causes diseases.
  3. Do not wear wet cloths and shoes because it can develop allergies and skin infections. So stay safe and healthy.
  4. Always wash fruits and vegetables after bringing it from market. Soak them in salt water for a few minutes and then wash it of with fresh water also as germs are always there on them. Or you can wash them in hot waters if you prefer.
  5. Take enough 8 hours sleep to keep your immunity strong and active to fight bacteria and viruses
  6. Have a glass of warm milk adding turmeric and drink before going to bed. It keeps the immune system healthy
  7. Do Exercise daily and regular. As active body is always ready to fight the germs and keeps the blood circulation active that keeps our heart and immunity strong.
  8. Eat chyavanpras daily as it has many herbal ingredients that makes us not only healthy but strong and active. For elders 2 tablespoon daily and kids can have 1 tablespoon in the morning.
  9. Stay away from ill or seek peoples and if by any chance you have come in contact with them wash your hands and legs properly with soap.
  10. Beware of mosquitoes as they don’t easily go away with regular cleaning. They are everywhere so use preventive oil, ointments or gel or mosquito nets.
