Good communication is important in every area of life. At school, students need to communicate clearly with teachers and classmates. At home, family members need effective communication to understand one another and solve problems.

Listening is an important part of communication. A person who listens carefully is more likely to understand what another person means. Interrupting constantly or ignoring another person’s opinion can create misunderstanding and conflict.

Good communication also requires respect. People may disagree about ideas, but they should avoid insulting one another. Speaking politely, listening carefully and explaining ideas clearly can help people build better relationships.

SECTION C – SUMMARY

Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow.

Regular sleep is important for students because the body and brain need time to recover after daily activities. Students who sleep well are usually better prepared to concentrate and learn during the day.

Lack of sleep can make students tired and less attentive. It may also make it difficult to remember information and complete tasks efficiently. Using electronic devices late at night can make it harder for some students to fall asleep.

Students can improve their sleep habits by keeping a regular bedtime, reducing unnecessary screen use before sleeping and creating a quiet sleeping environment. Good sleep should be treated as an important part of a healthy routine.
